Spent Christmas in a beautiful historic building, filled with charm and character. The location was key, making it easy to explore the surrounding areas. The warm and cosy room was perfect for curling up by the fire and enjoying the festive atmosphere. The breakfast selection was top-notch, with a wide variety of goodies to choose from. I particularly enjoyed the homemade pastries and the fresh fruits.
Although the hotel had plenty to offer, getting there was a bit stressful. The parking was a bit tricky to navigate and the narrow streets made it difficult to manoeuvre. Also, if you're driving a larger SUV, it may be a bit cumbersome. Another downside was the lack of clear directions for finding the parking area, which made for a somewhat frustrating arrival. However, once we were settled in, it was smooth sailing.

The location of the hotel was perfect, just a short walk away from the main attractions of the town. The rooms were also nicely renovated and clean, with all the necessary amenities. the staff at reception were friendly, welcoming, and provided us with useful information about the area.
The breakfast was a real let down. The selection was limited, and the food items on display were pre-packaged and not fresh.

I chose this hotel for a council meeting and was pleased with the featured amenities provided. The business center was well-equipped, and the complimentary newspapers in the lobby were a nice touch. The dry cleaning/laundry services were also convenient, ensuring I had everything I needed for my work-related stay.
One service I missed for my work was a dedicated meeting room or conference facility. It would have been helpful to have a designated space for the council meeting, rather than using the general business center.
